WedDefined started with a local idea: make wedding planning feel more personal, more useful and more connected to the people actually doing the work. Portland proved the idea. Keeping it only in Portland didn't.

Portland gave us the place to build it: talented independent wedding businesses, couples trying to make thousands of decisions, and a simple question—what if the plan came before the directory?
That became Wedding Builder by WedDefined: start with the couple's budget, priorities, style, guest count and location, then help the rest of the wedding take shape around them.
Then the obvious question became impossible to ignore: why should a better way to plan a wedding belong to only one place?
